โœ… Mandatory Bid Requirements

 

Bidders must ensure they meet the following criteria:

  • Legal Documents: Submit copies of a renewed Trade License, TIN certificate, Tax Clearance Certificate, and VAT Registration Certificate.
  • Bid Security: A bid security of Birr 30,000.00 is required.
    • It must be in the form of a CPO or unconditional bank guarantee from a recognized bank.
    • It must be in the name of โ€œWegagen Bank S.C.โ€
    • It must be submitted either with the technical proposal or in a separate sealed envelope.
  • Offer Validity: Both the price quoted and the bid bond guarantee should not be less than 90 days.

 

๐Ÿ“ฆ Submission Procedure

 

  1. Envelopes: Technical and Financial proposals must be submitted in separate sealed envelopes.
  2. Copies: Present both original and copy of the technical and financial proposals.
  3. Delivery: Deliver the sealed envelopes to the 16th floor of Wegagen Tower on or before the closing date and time (November 18, 2025, at 3:00 p.m.).

 

๐Ÿ† Post-Award Requirements

 

  • Performance Bond: The winning supplier must provide 10% of the award amount in the form of a performance bond guarantee/CPO before signing the contract and taking the purchase order.
  • Wegagen Bank reserves the right to reject any or all the bids.
