💰 Financial and Legal Requirements

  1. Bid Document Fee (Non-refundable): Birr 250.00 (Two Hundred Fifty Birr Only), including 15% VAT.

    • Note: Bidders participating in one or more of Lots 1 to 3 pay only Birr 250.00 total.

    • Payment Method: Depositing the fee at Abay Bank S.C, Main Branch Head Office, Ground floor.

  2. Bid Bond (Bid Security):

    • Amount: 2% of the total quoted bid value.

    • Maximum Amount: Shall not be greater than Birr 500,000 (Five Hundred Thousand Birr).

    • Form: Must be an Unconditional & Irrevocable Bank Guarantee from another local Bank, OR a Cashier’s Payment Order (C.P.O) from any local Bank.

    • Validity: The Bid Bond must be valid for not less than 120 days from the date of bid opening.

  3. Mandatory Documents: Presentation of a copy of the following documents is a must:

    • Renewed Trade license.

    • Tax clearance certificate.

    • VAT registration certificate.

🏢 Document Collection and Submission Address

  • Location: Abay Bank Head Office, Zequal Complex Building, 8th floor (Around Bambis or In front of Bambis NOC Fuel station).

  • Department: Procurement and Property Management Department.

  • Working Hours (for acquisition/submission): Monday to Friday (8:00 AM–12:00 PM, 1:00 PM–5:00 PM) and Saturday (8:00 AM–12:00 PM).

  • Bid Submission: Documents shall be deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose at the Procurement & Property Management Department.

⚠️ General Conditions

  • Rejection: Failure to comply with any of the above conditions shall entail automatic rejection.

  • Bank’s Right: The Bank reserves the right to accept or reject the bid partially or fully.
