Description

DEC seeks to hire a qualified consulting firm or individual consultant to conduct a qualitative assessment that explores community-level attitudes, practices, and barriers to gender-based violence (GBV) prevention and response service delivery.

Assessment Title Qualitative Assessment of Community-Level and Service Delivery Gaps on GBV Prevention and Response.
Target Areas Afar Region (specifically Bidu and Afdera Woredas).
Objective To generate in-depth qualitative data to inform GBV programming, coordination, and survivor-centered service delivery.

Who Can Apply

 

Interested and qualified individual consultants or firms with:

  • Relevant academic background.
  • Proven experience in GBV or protection-related assessments.
  • Experience in humanitarian or pastoralist contexts is particularly relevant.

 

Application Procedure

 

  1. Collect the Detailed Terms of Reference (ToR): Consultants must collect the full ToR from one of the offices listed below.
  2. ToR Collection Deadline: Until October 31, 2025, during working hours.
  3. Proposal Submission Deadline: The final deadline for proposal submission will be clearly indicated in the detailed ToR.
