Mandatory Qualification Requirements
Bidders must present and submit valid copies of the following documents:
- Renewed Trade License for 2017 E.C.
- Tax Clearance Certificate (valid for at least 28 days after bid submission date), VAT, and TIN registration certificates.
- Certificate of Registration from the Ministry of Works and Urban Development with a Category of GC-6 / RC-6 / BC-6 and above, renewed for 2017 E.C.
- Proof of General Construction Experiences.
- Proof of Specific Construction Experiences in Real Estate projects or high-rise projects.
- Current Contract Commitments (must be submitted).
- Financial Statement for the last two years (must be submitted).
- Failure to provide valid documents for items 1-3 will result in automatic rejection.
Submission Instructions
- Bidding Document: A complete set of the bidding document must be purchased for a non-refundable fee of ETB 200 upon submission of a written application.
- Proposal Format: Bidders must submit their proposals in two separate sealed envelopes:
- Envelope 1: “Technical Application”
- Envelope 2: “Financial Bid”
- These two envelopes shall be sealed in a single outer envelope.
- Copies: One original and one copy of the bids must be submitted.
- Evaluation: Evaluation will be done in one stage, where both the Financial Bid and Technical Qualification application will be evaluated at the bid opening date.
- Site Visit: Interested bidders are encouraged to visit the project site if needed.
- Late bids will be rejected.
- DMC Construction Plc. reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
