Facility Goal: Center of excellence for sensory education and coffee quality training.

1. Contractor Eligibility

To participate, your company must meet the following mandatory criteria:

• Grade: GC/BC/WWC Category 3 and above.

• Licensing: Valid renewed business license for the 2018 Ethiopian Fiscal Year.

• Experience: Mandatory previous experience in similar hardship working environments. Previous experience with CACH is a significant advantage.

3. Submission Requirements

• Packaging: * ORIGINAL and COPY in separate, wax-sealed, and stamped envelopes.

  • Both must be placed in one large outer envelope.

• Bid Security (CPO): Exactly 2% of the total bid offer, issued in the name of Caritas Switzerland from a recognized bank.

• Fee: There is no payment required to collect the bidding documents (bring your license or legal delegation paper).

4. Evaluation Criteria

The selection process is divided into two major components:

Technical Evaluation (The Gatekeeper)

• Performance Letters: You must attach letters of recommendation from GOs/NGOs for similar types of work.

• Resources: Proof of adequate tools and human resources.

• Work Plan: A detailed implementation schedule starting from the date of contract signing.

• Methodology: A clear description of how you will execute the construction specifically for a lab-standard facility.

Financial Evaluation

• Only bidders who pass the technical minimum requirements will have their financial offers opened. The evaluation is based on the most competitive price.
