Description
Yotek Construction plc. Now invites eligible firms (“Sub-Contractor”) to provide the services for ‘Detailed Geotechnical and/ or Geophysical Investigations’. Bidding will be conducted through the national Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures and is open to all eligible domestic bidders as specified and defined in the bidding document.

The services sought are for detailed Geotechnical and Geophysical investigations for bridges and selected road stretches.

Scope of Works (Geotechnical Investigation):
The work includes mobilization/demobilization, studying seismic hazards, drilling boreholes using rotary drilling rigs, SPT-tests, extracting samples (disturbed/undisturbed/core), establishing groundwater conditions, detailed geotechnical logging, laboratory testing, core preservation, and preparation of the Technical Report.
✅ Mandatory Eligibility Criteria
Bidders must submit copies of the following documents:
- Certificate of Competence: Renewed and Valid for the current budget year.
- Trade License & Business Registration Certificate: Renewed and Valid for the current budget year.
- Tax Compliance: VAT Registration Certificate, TIN Registration Certificate, and a Valid Tax Clearance Certificate.
- FPPA Registration: Must be registered in the FPPA’s Suppliers List.
- Equipment Availability:
- Geotechnical: Minimum of one drilling rig.
- Geophysical: Availability of seismic refraction instrument and Electrical resistivity meter.
📝 Bidding Process and Evaluation
- Proposal Structure: Bidders must submit one original and one photocopy for both the Technical Proposal and the Financial Offer in separately sealed envelopes.
- Qualification/Technical Score: Only financial offers of those bidders who score the qualifying point (70% and above) will be opened.
- Rejection Clause: Any submission of forged documents or indication of the financial offer on the qualification (Technical) document will result in the rejection of the bid.
- Document Inspection: Bidding documents can be inspected and obtained free of charge upon submission of a written application.
