Self Help Africa is currently seeking the External Auditor to conduct an audit service for its fiscal year January to December 2025, for financial statements in accordance with the requirement of the Agency for Civil Society Organizations (ACSO). Eligible firms which fulfil the following requirements are invited to participate in this bid and submit their proposal.

📜 Essential Requirements for Audit Firms
Eligible firms must fulfill the following:

Authorization: Must be authorized and listed with the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE).

Licensing: Possess a valid business license and a renewed professional audit service license for the current year (2018 E.C.).

Tax Compliance:

Tax Identification Number (TIN).

Valid Value Added Tax (VAT) registration certificate.

Experience: Evidence of past performance records on similar works and other relevant credentials (e.g., client references).
🎯 Objective and Scope of Service

Purpose: Conduct annual statutory and compliance audit of Self-Help Africa.

Audit Standards: Audit must be conducted in accordance with the International Standard on Auditing (ISA), ACSO, and government requirements.

Workload: Approximately 57 box files of accounting documents to be audited.

Location: The audit will be primarily based in the Addis Ababa Office. Visits to projects may be facilitated if necessary.

Additional Requirement: The firm will be required to participate during year-end inventory as needed.
