To be considered, the legal advisor must meet these specific ECMA-related benchmarks:

• ECMA Registration: The advisor must be officially registered with the Ethiopian Capital Market Authority.

• Proven Track Record: Bidders must submit evidence that they have previously registered an organization with ECMA OR are currently engaged in advising an active ECMA registration process.

• Legal Standing: Valid and renewed Trade License, VAT and TIN Certificates, and a current Tax Clearance Certificate.

3. Financial Requirements

• Document Fee: A non-refundable fee of Birr 300.00 (inclusive of VAT).

• Bid Security: A refundable 2% Bid Security Bond of the total bid amount.

  • Form: Must be a CPO in favor of “Abay Insurance S.C.”

4. Submission Instructions

Bidders must follow the strict “Wax Sealed” protocol to avoid disqualification:

1. Packaging: Prepare Technical and Financial documents in separate wax-sealed envelopes.

2. Delivery: Physically deposit the envelopes in the designated tender box at the Head Office.
