1. Eligibility & Legal Requirements

Interested suppliers must provide the following documentation to participate:

• Business License: Specifically for office furniture, electronics, or related business lines.

• License Validity: Must be renewed for the 2025 E.C. (Ethiopian Calendar) fiscal year.

• Taxation: Taxpayer Registration (TIN) certificate is mandatory.

• Location: APDA Head Office in Samara, Afar.

• Fee: ETB 200.00 (Non-refundable, payable in cash).

• Process: Submit a written application along with copies of your legal documents to collect the full tender package.

• Bid Bond: 2% of the total bid amount.

• Form: Accepted as either a CPO or a Bank Guarantee.

• Packaging: The bid must be wax-sealed and clearly marked.

• Logistics to Samara: Since the primary collection and opening point is in Samara, ensure your logistics plan accounts for the distance if you are an Addis-based supplier. • Durability for the Climate: The Afar region has high temperatures. In your technical specs for electronics (like laptops or printers), highlight products with good heat tolerance and dust resistance, as these are common challenges in the region.
