2. Mandatory Eligibility Documents
Bidders must include the following in their Technical Proposal to avoid disqualification:

Company Profile: Including a record of past performance on similar solar or water works (Testimony letters required).

Legal Licenses: * Valid Business License for 2018 E.C. (2026 G.C.).

Bid Security: A 2% CPO (Cashier’s Payment Order) of the total bid amount in the name of Afro Ethiopia Integrated Development.
3. Technical Understanding: Solar Pump Systems
For a “Solarized Spring Water Scheme,” the supply usually involves several interconnected components. Ensure your technical proposal addresses the compatibility of these items:

Solar Array: PV panels and mounting structures (likely ground-mounted for a town scheme).

Solar Pump Controller/Inverter: To convert DC power and manage pump speed based on sunlight intensity.

Submersible or Surface Pump: Specifically rated for the head and flow requirements of the Burka site.

Accessories: Sensors (dry-run protection), cabling, and potentially a backup switch for cloudy days.
4. Collection & Submission Instructions
How to Collect

Location: AEID Head Office, Gurd Shola Area, Sisters Civil Society Organization Bldg, 6th Floor, Room 604.

Fee: 400 ETB (Non-refundable).
How to Submit

Envelopes: Submit two separate, sealed envelopes (Technical and Financial).

Labeling: Each envelope must be marked as “Original” and “Copy.” Both must bear the bidder’s official seal, name, contact address, bid title, and reference number (AEID-001-26).

Delivery: Physical submission to the Head Office in Gurd Shola.
