Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS) invites sealed bid from eligible, qualified bidders for the supply of the following different industrial items

A. Bid Document Purchase

• Fee: Non-refundable payment of ETB 500 (Five Hundred Birr).
• Payment Method: Deposit to CBE Account Number 1000000950487 in the name of the Ethiopian Red Cross Society.
• Collection Location: ERCS Humanitarian Supply Chain Department Procurement Division, First floor, Office No. 25, located around Stadium, Addis Ababa.

B. Bid Submission

• Packaging: The bid must consist of four separate, sealed envelopes (stamped, wax-sealed, and signed in an outer envelope):
  1. FINANCIAL OFFER (ORIGINAL)
  2. FINANCIAL OFFER (COPY)
  3. TECHNICAL OFFER
  4. CPO (Bid Security)
• Submission Location: Ethiopian Red Cross Society Head Quarters (Address below).

3. Mandatory Requirements

1. Legal Documents: Bidders must present a copy of their renewed trade license for the year 2017 E.C., registration certificate, Tax Identification (TIN) & VAT Registration Certificates, and other necessary documents.
2. Bid Security (Bid Bond): Amounting to 2% of the total bid offer.
3. Bid Security Form: The security must be in the form of CPO only (Cash Payment Order), submitted in a separate envelope.
4. Bid Security Validity: Must be valid for 28 consecutive days beyond the end of the validity period of the bid.
5. Rebar Testing: The winning bidder shall cover/bear the cost of rebar testing after inspection of samples delivered from the warehouse.
6. Rejected Items: If items are rejected, the supplier shall be responsible to return the items at their own expense.
7. Rejection: Failure to comply with the specified conditions may result in automatic rejection.
8. ERCS Right: The ERCS reserves the right to reject any bid and to annul the bidding process at any time.
