A. Bid Document Purchase

• Fee: Non-refundable payment of ETB 500.00 (Five Hundred Birr).
• Payment Method: Deposit to CBE Account Number 1000000950487 in the name of the Ethiopian Red Cross Society.
• Collection Location: ERCS Humanitarian Supply Chain Department Procurement Division, First floor, Office No. 25, located around Stadium, Addis Ababa.

B. Proposal Submission

• Bid Security (Bid Bond): Amounting to 2% of the total bid offer, submitted on a separate envelope in the form of CPO only. The bid security must be valid for 28 consecutive days beyond the end of the validity period of the bid.
• Packaging: The bid must consist of four separate, sealed envelopes (stamped, wax-sealed, and signed in an outer envelope):
  1. FINANCIAL OFFER (ORIGINAL)
  2. FINANCIAL OFFER (COPY)
  3. TECHNICAL OFFER
  4. CPO (Bid Security)

3. Mandatory Requirements

1. Legal Documents: Bidders must present a copy of their renewed trade license for the year 2017/2018 E.C., Business registration certificate, Tax Identification (TIN) & VAT Registration Certificates, and other necessary documents.
2. Compliance: Bidders must read the bidding document thoroughly to fill all necessary details.
3. Rejection: Failure to comply with the specified conditions may result in automatic rejection.
4. ERCS Right: The Ethiopian Red Cross Society reserves the right to reject any bid and to annul the bidding process at any time prior to contract award.
