📜 Bidding Requirements

1. Mandatory Documents:
   • Copy of Renewed Trade license.
   • Tax clearance certificate.
   • VAT registration certificate.
2. Bid Document Purchase:
   • Fee: Non-refundable fee of Birr 250.00 (Two Hundred Fifty Birr) per lot, including 15% VAT service charge.
   • Payment Location: Deposit payment at Abay Bank S.C, Main Branch Head Office Ground floor.¹

      

   • Collection Location: Procurement and Property Management Department, Abay Bank Head Office, Zequal Complex Building, 8th floor (Around Bambis or in front of Bambis NOC Fuel station).
   • Collection Start Date: November 12, 2025.
   • Collection Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, 1:00 PM–5:00 PM; Saturday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM.
3. Bid Security (Bid Bond):
   • Amount: 2% of the total quoted bid value.
   • Maximum Amount: Shall not be greater than Birr 500,000 (Five Hundred Thousand Birr).
   • Form: Unconditional & Irrevocable Bank Guarantee from other local Bank OR Cashier’s Payment Order (C.P.O) from any local Bank.
   • Validity: Not less than 120 days from the date of bid opening.
4. Submission and Opening:
   • Bids must be deposited in the tender box at the Procurement and Contract Management Division (8th floor).
   • Bid opening will be held at the same location, in the presence of bidders or their representatives.
