Bid Document Acquisition
- Fee: Non-refundable ETB 400 (Four Hundred Birr).
- Payment Method: Deposit to CBE Account Number 1000000950487 in the name of the Ethiopian Red Cross Society.
- Collection: Collect the document from the ERCS Humanitarian Supply Chain Department, Procurement Division, First floor, Office No.25 (located around Stadium, Addis Ababa).
3. Financial and Technical Submission Requirements
A. Bid Security (Bid Bond)
- Amount: 2% of the total bid offer.
- Form: CPO only (Certified Payment Order).
- Validity: The bid security must be valid for 28 consecutive days beyond the end of the bid validity period.
- Packaging: Must be submitted in a separate sealed envelope.
B. Tender Packaging
Bids must be submitted in four separate sealed envelopes which are then wax-sealed, stamped, and signed inside a single outer envelope:
- FINANCIAL OFFER (ORIGINAL) – Separately sealed.
- FINANCIAL OFFER (COPY) – Separately sealed.
- TECHNICAL OFFER – Separately sealed and clearly labeled TECHNICAL OFFER.
- CPO (Bid Security) – Separately sealed.
C. Required Legal Documents (Copies to be presented)
- Renewed Trade License for the year 2017 E.C.
- Registration Certificate
- Tax Identification (TIN) Certificate
- VAT Registration Certificate
- Other necessary documents.
4. Important Notes
- Compliance: Failure to comply with the stated conditions (No.2 to 7) may result in automatic rejection.
- Diligence: Bidders are advised to read the bidding document thoroughly to fill in all the necessary details.
